This recipe is gluten free and dairy free and will cause happy people to be happier. It makes the perfect little budget friendly coffee date!
If coffee in the morning isn't one of the best simple pleasures in life, then you have me stumped! What better trick for a coffee treat than to TURN IT PINK (without anything strange like food dye)!?
It is also possible to drizzle this liquid goodness all over some biscuits or a stack of pancakes... nom. Plus I had some in my coconut green tea the other day and hello yum. Seems that this syrup is a bit of a jack of all trades!
Blackberry Latte Syrup:
Ingredients-
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- Rinse blackberries
- Place blackberries and water into a blender and blend to a liquid
- Strain blackberry liquid with a fine colander into a small sauce pot
- Add sugar and stir over medium high heat until it gets bubbly and sugar has dissolved
- Simmer over low heat for 3 minutes
